More ancient than all of the civilizations in South America, the Bat Mother is the progenitor of a vampire race that hunted humankind a millennia ago. Many of the blood cults and the human sacrifices attributed to the people of Central and South America were to appease her appetites, and to possibly prevent her and her children from consuming entire cultures. It is probable that many of the sudden disappearances of tribes in the Americas are related the Bat Mother not being satiated enough by their tribal sacrifice.
The Bat Mother and her Ghouls all disappeared suddenly, but she has returned and she is ready for the sacrifices to begin again.
She is the most primal of predators. Hungry for blood and meat. She is the moonless night, completely dark and absolute as death itself.
